Massage For the Neck Area

his clip is a follow up to the article on keyboarding I posted yesterday.



I think the therapist in this clip is very thorough, and subtle. She creates a calm atmosphere that invites not just the musculoskeletal system to open up but the mind as well.

In martial arts, we usually “bridge” with others in two ways – self defense and health. The sensitivity we use to find inroads through an opponent’s defenses, we also use to help and to heal.  Two sides to the same coin.

Studying massage and other types of body work not only improves the subtlety of our martial arts but helps us to become more balanced human beings. By creating health – through touch – we also heal ourselves!
